A glorious day for flying saw many aircraft attending the open day at the Moama Airport. The beautifully presented, well maintained 900 meter long grass strip is a joy to land on or take off from. Over 20 aircraft made the trip. Some from Deniliquin, Bendigo and Shepparton, and some from local private strips. Others made the trip by car with well over 60 people attending. 

A splendid barbecue and salad lunch was provided by owners Victor and Michael Jones, as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks at no cost to the visitors. The gathering were treated to a top level display of aerobatics from some very talented local and visiting pilots. All in all a great day for local aviation.
