On Sunday the 25th of May 2025, the Echuca Moama Aero Club invites you to an Open Day at the Echuca Aerodrome.

Our aim is to promote aviation in the local area and to give people the opportunity to fly in an aircraft with a qualified instructor with hands on experience of what it's like to pilot an aeroplane. A Trial Instruction Flight (TIF).

You can fly a four seat aircraft in the General Aviation (GA) category (Piper Archer II)  or a two seat light aircraft in the Recreational (RA-Aus) category (FK9)  

Flying starts from 9.00am and will continue through the day finishing at around 5.00pm. As we anticipate a high demand for these TIF's, a booking will insure that you will get a flight. Although casual bookings may be possible on the day, booking in advance will avoid disappointment. The cost is based on time in the aircraft, with 40 minute ($249) flight in the Piper Archer II or a 30 minute ($199) flight in the Recreational class (FK9). Payment to be made before the flight (Credit Card/Cash).
